Community
Well
Vurpar depend upon a series of wells to provide water for
the community. The water supply is suspect. Springs also dot
the landscape, but they too suffer some pollution. For most
people in the town indoor plumbing is only a dream.

Electrical
Transformer
Electricity is available in the community. Telephone service
has just arrived, but there is no natural gas service in
Vurpar. In some ways, Vurpar resembles rural America in
the 1930s.

Street
on Rainy Day
The streets range from asphalt to dirt. There is one road
out of Vurpar. Conditions range from smooth to bone rattling.

They have pulled water from this well from years, but it is
still safer to drink beer, tuica or wine than water. |
